After a long career at the BBC and Shooting Pictures in London, Russ moved to California in 2003 to attend UCLA's school of Film Theater and Television for Screenwriting. He has since worked as a writer/producer in Los Angeles, for the BBC and US production companies.

Marie Pineda completed her BFA with honors, in Film & TV Production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She continued on to obtain her MFA at the American Film Institute in the Producing program. She has produced a number of projects both in Los Angeles and in Manila, where she was born and raised, including work that have screened in renowned festivals and won awards.
